It was the interval.
Savan dashed into the classroom.
“Tug of war, tug of war, come and join” he shouted.
Everyone ran out of the class.
Savan took them to the new construction site behind the classroom.
Aditya and a few others were already there with a big rope.
The boys divided themselves into two groups.
With a loud cheer they started the contest.
It was high fun.
They played it for about three four times.
A few workmen at the construction site too watched them.
After about four rounds a workman spoke.
“We need the rope now” he told the boys.
“This is the rope we use to send cement buckets to the top floor” he said.
The boys looked confused.
“Didn’t you get their permission to use the rope?” everyone asked Savan.
Savan shook his head.
Everyone apologised to the workman and returned to the class.
Why did the boys run out of the class?
Where did the boys play tug of war?
Whose rope had they been using to play the game?
